During my brief stay at FabHotel Dawn Mysore, I was excited about the prime location, hoping it would lead us to some memorable explorations in Mysore. The in-house restaurant certainly piqued my interest with its claims of diverse cuisine options, but our experience fell short, especially during breakfast. We were met with a limited buffet that lacked flavor and variety, which was disappointing for a food lover like me. The rooms had potential with their cozy seating areas and necessary amenities, but the lack of attention to housekeeping made it feel less inviting and more like a chore. While the quiet surroundings offered a peaceful escape, the absence of basic services like reliable room service and timely luggage handling left a lot to be desired. As a marine biologist accustomed to the calls of nature, I craved a bit of tranquility that sadly didn’t flow through the hotel’s halls. Altogether, while the hotel had its highlights, my experience reminded me that even a tropical paradise can have its challenges. I’d suggest travelers seek out more reliable options to ensure their comfort during their adventures in India.
